Code Of Conduct For Students
- Discipline is an important factor in building up character of pupils. While coming to school and returning home from school, they are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner that they will be a credit to both their families and their school.
- Our day begins with an assembly, the most sacred part of our timetable. Children should be on time to share in this precious moment. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglecting tasks, disrespect and disobedience towards teachers and other members of the school staff, stealing or bad moral influence justify dismissal.
- No student should scratch or spoil the furniture or scribble on the walls. Pupils who damage school property will be obliged to make good the damage done by them.
- It is mandatory for pupils to participate in school programmes.
- On weekdays (Parents-Teacher meeting) and at school functions the school uniform must be worn. Students must wear proper school uniform.
- Every pupil should bring the school dairy to school daily.
- It is advisable for the pupils not to bring valuables to the school.
- No pupil may leave the school premises during the school hours or recess without the permission of the Principal.
- Students are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings.
- Students are expected to take part in extra curricular activities with all enthusiasm and with a spirit of sportsmanship.
- Tools/ objects that are not of any need or relevance to the academic pursuit should not be found with any student within the school premises. No books or magazine other than text books or library books to be brought to the school.
- Pupils and parents are forbidden to give either individual or collective gifts to the teachers.
- No collection of money for any purpose whatsoever, may be made in the school without the permission of the Principal.
- All will listen keenly to the timely directions given by the Principal and take care to abide by them.
- Not to take part in unacceptable behaviour such as bullying, swearing, using abusive language, spitting, fighting, littering, damaging school property.
- Speak positively of your school and teachers.
- Pupil should greet their teachers whenever they meet them.
- No pupil is allowed to bring motor vehicle in the school premises.
- No mobile phones will be brought to the school without Principal’s permission. Strict action will be taken against the defaulter.
- Special care must be taken to see that silence is maintained during the change of period.
- Not to leave school campus without prior permission of the Parents and Principal.
- Not to meet any visitors in school without the written permission of Principal.
- Not to use unfair means during evaluations. Such improper conduct is unworthy of a Holy Familian and can lead to severe penalties.
- Take/ carry a permission slip every time you leave your class.
- Books and notebooks should be brought according to the time-table.
